We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our Yilgarn Shared Services team. Reporting to the Yilgarn Human Resources Manager, in this role you will provide HR generalist support to the Yilgarn operations. Specifically, you will:
  • Provide guidance and support to supervisors / managers in areas such as performance management, disciplinary procedures, policy interpretation, grievance resolution and EEO
  • Champion and administer ongoing talent management process, including training and assistance for users
  • Coordinate and support various training initiatives and career development programs including apprentices and graduate programs and leadership development.
  • Administration of salary continuance, visa and relocation processes.
  • Support the administration of the HR masterfile data in Oracle for the Yilgarn sites, including providing reports as required.
  • Work closely with HR Manager to implement change management initiatives and other business improvement projects.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or associated discipline and be able to demonstrate extensive practical experience in HR Generalist role, preferably in the resources industry. Strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to liaise with people at all levels, a very high level attention to detail, and the ability to interpret policy and compliance requirements are all essential requirements.
Based in Perth within the CBD, this position will involve travel to site two days a week. A competitive salary package, including premium health cover, salary continuance insurance and salary packaging options will be offered to the successful candidate.
