We are now searching for a:
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
PROJECT PORTFOLIO IMPACT
The Business and Regional Development team provides senior leadership of the Centre for Business Engagement (CBE) with the support and analysis necessary to meet strategic goals. Its role is to optimize processes, integrate content and implement projects, measure and track performance to deliver for the Forum and its stakeholders.
Partners of the Forum have developed a range of multistakeholder initiatives focusing on issues of global public interest and generating new insights and impact at global, regional and industry levels. In this role, you will understand the portfolio of initiatives run by the CBE. You will identify opportunities for developing the project portfolio to achieve greater impact and insight for our stakeholders. You will design and put in place new approaches to deliver insight and impact.
Working for the Chief Business Officer and CBE Senior Staff, you will:
• Review project portfolios against strategic goals
• Define future opportunities for project portfolio development
• Manage the process by which senior leaders review the progress of existing projects and proposed new projects
In collaboration with media, HR and IT, you will:
• Design communication strategies for our projects
• Develop tools and processes to capture knowledge from projects
• Identify the training/skills needed for effective project management
You possess a broad background with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in economics or business administration or international development. You have five or more years of relevant professional experience, ideally in the private sector with strategic consulting experience in international development as a plus. We are looking for a proven track record in the management of complex projects and process. You are able to manage deadlines and competing priorities in a dynamic work environment. We expect you to exhibit demonstrated leadership capabilities as well as strong collaboration and presentation skills with a commitment to the collective output of a team. You will be part of a highly motivated and experienced team supporting the Chief Business Officer and his senior team.
