We are now searching for a:
BUSINESS ANALYST (TECHNOLOGY)
You will help to evolve the online technology systems deployed by the Forum’s Technology Team in support of the Forum's communities and activities. Acting as the key liaison between the technical team and the rest of the house, you will be tasked with understanding and documenting other team’s business processes with a focus on their online interactions with external users. You will work with technology managers and developers to design online software products which will improve existing interactions and enable new interactions.
Your tasks will include:
• Designing and maintaining a map of internal business process and external online interactions
• Producing and maintaining supporting documentation for these processes
• Incorporating feedback from internal teams on current use of our existing online software products
• Incorporating feedback from and maintaining requirements for our toolkit of online statistics and analytics across all our online software products
• Working with our designers to produce designs/wireframes for subsequent online software development
• Working with our developers to ensure our online software products reflect our processes and meet our users’ requirements
• Working with the wider Forum IT team on internal software products (CRM, Event Management) as appropriate
You have a university degree and a broad intellectual background with two or more years of relevant professional experience, ideally in more than one sector. You have a proven track record in business analysis and process mapping alongside experience in developing dynamic online software products. You also have solid project management skills; experience in Agile development is a plus. Finally, you are always ready to learn new things, solve difficult problems and seek clarity where others see complexity.
