We are now searching for a:
COMMUNITY MANAGER CHEMICALS INDUSTRY
You will be responsible for managing relationships between the World Economic Forum and leaders from the global Chemicals and related industry sectors. As the primary interface between the Forum and key industry sector contacts including CEOs, senior corporate executives, related government ministries and subject matter experts, you will coordinate their involvement in Forum activities and their engagement in task forces and initiatives. You will create and maintain account plans for our Partner companies, and design and execute industry-related regional and project meetings.
You will be responsible for increasing the membership and partnership base of the Forum’s Chemicals community by cultivating key strategic relationships and aligning Forum projects, initiatives and meetings with the strategic concerns of the Chemicals industry. You will work closely with relevant leading national government officials to identify current and future industry issues and priorities to be translated into meeting agendas, workstreams and projects. You will also work closely with related Forum communities to best advance key Chemicals industry issues.
You will join the Forum as part of the Global Leadership Fellows Programme (www.weforum.org/glf). As such, you will be fully integrated in the World Economic Forum and benefit from an intensive work and learning experience intended to develop and train future leaders of global enterprises and international organizations.
We expect you to possess demonstrated leadership capabilities, excellent team/communication skills and a broad intellectual background. You hold a Master’s degree, have 3-5 years of professional experience and, ideally, some business development experience in the Chemicals or related industries in an international environment. You are fluent in English and at least one other language.
