Vacancy: Crop Business Communications Partner Vacancy Type: Permanent Business Unit: Corporate Functions Functional area: Communications Location: CH - Basel Responsibilities: • To act as a Business Partner for Global Crop Unit Leadership teams • To give advice to Crop Unit Leadership teams on their internal and external communications as well as public and policy affairs • To drive the creation and implementation of integrated communications strategies in support of each Crop Unit Leadership Team which includes internal communications, positioning of the crop and stakeholder engagement • To introduce the "Thought Leadership agenda" to the Crop Units and ensure this will be embedded in the global crop strategies • To drive projects that build the Syngenta brand and reputation • To ensure crop communication and story alignment between Global Leadership Team, regions and territories • To provide leadership, direction, personal support and coaching to Senior Leadership team members Requirements: • Minimum 6-8 years of communications experience, preferably in corporate communications • All-around communicator, ideally with corporate communications and public affairs experience • Broad experience both as an internal and external communicator • Sound understanding of external stakeholder engagement/ public policy work • Experience in change communications • Agricultural knowledge, understanding what drives a crop program
