The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is a system of 16 Colleges in 7 centers in the United Arab Emirates, one of the most progressive and modern countries in the Middle East.

The College Services Supervisor at Fujairah Colleges is accountable for the coordination of planning, development and implementation of college support services related to IT, Finance, Facilities and Administration. The position manages a team of Coordinators and Administrators responsible for the maintenance and administration of these services that are located at two colleges. Key areas of scope/emphasis include Finance and Budget preparation, administration and purchasing, inventory and supplies and the maintenance and operation of facilities.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in a related area
• Significant years of work experience at a managerial level, preferably in a higher education setting
• A background in finance, accounting and facilities management or IT management within recent career history
• Manages the IT, Finance, Facilities and Administration departments, ensuring quality management systems and processes are in place throughout the Colleges
• Maintains procedures for purchasing, security, inventory and development of physical assets
• Liaises with local government agencies, local private contractors, suppliers and other external organizations with regards to facilities, contract issuance, resource acquisition and utilization
• Participates in the preparation, administration and monitoring of the college budget
• Manages the IT infrastructure of the Colleges by developing and promoting technological solutions to provide a high level of availability and efficient services at reduced costs
• Approves, prioritizes and controls IT service projects, identifies risks and develops business case justifications and cost benefit analysis for technology spending initiatives
• Fluency in oral and written English is essential, with Arabic being desirable
