The School of Humanities, University of New England (UNE), maintains a diverse and robust History programme, including its flagship Local Family and Applied History awards and the world’s only Bachelor of Historical Inquiry and Practice. It also maintains the Museum of Antiquities, Australia’s only regional archaeological museum, and is the home of the Heritage Futures Research Centre which facilitates the sharing of values, information and expertise among scholars, professionals and the broader community.

The School seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Early European History to bolster its existing strengths in a variety of fields, including Medieval History and the Reformation and Renaissance periods in Britain and Europe.
