Come to UNE to join a psychology discipline that has an enviable record of research and teaching and provides one of Australia’s most successful and well-established programs in distance education. The discipline has a staff of 20 academics, technical and administrative support, and an extensive range of teaching, library, computing, and research facilities, including an auditory laboratory.

The successful applicant to the position (equivalent to assistant professor) will conduct research, supervise honours and PhD students, contribute to the teaching of our undergraduate and fourth year programs in psychology, and coordinate an undergraduate psychology unit in perception and perceptual impairment. Perception and perceptual impairment will be delivered in face-to-face classes for on-campus students, and online for off-campus students (these students also attend a 3-day intensive school on campus).

Applicants must have a PhD in psychology, be able to teach perception and perceptual impairment, have a strong or emerging research profile in psychology relative to stage of career, and show evidence of strong teaching performance and strong organizational skills.

Salary: A$77,416 to A$91,751 per annum (Lecturer) plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
