LECTURER IN AGRICULTURAL/BIO-SYSTEMS ENGINEERING
Qualifications/Experience:
1. PhD in Agricultural/Bio-systems/Mechanical Engineering, with specialization in Field Mechanization and Machinery and/or Intelligent Machine Systems or related areas
2. Teaching experience in Food Process Engineering will be an advantage
3. Track record of refereed publications
4. Involvement in submitting successful grant applications
Responsibilities/Specialisation:
1. Strengthen the activities in the Department, in particular Bio-systems (Agricultural) Engineering
2. Teach Traction and Power Hydraulics, Field Machinery and/or Intelligent Machine Systems and other related Mechanical Engineering courses such as Machine Design, Strength of Materials, Dynamics and Mechanics of Machines
Personal Attributes:
1. Ability to organize research, service and outreach in Agricultural Engineering and the Caribbean Food Production Community
2. Team player and willing to work with various departmental research groups and students
3. Creative and innovative
4. Student centred
