Manager, talent outreach and planning Chemonics International

Chemonics International seeks a mid-level manager to support our talent acquisition efforts through outreach and sourcing. We are looking for an experienced manager to identify talent gaps, develop strategies, target diverse networks, build partnerships, and assume a pivotal role in all outreach activities and communications. Applicants must possess a passion for helping people live healthy, more productive, and more independent lives. Responsibilities include:

  • Research and build targeted relationships with schools, universities, organizations that serve veterans and disabled persons, minority groups, and other strategic partners
  • Organize events, including overseeing all logistics
  • Develop, conduct, and facilitate presentations at events
  • Build strong internal and external working relationships


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in international development, including two years of supervisory management and two years of project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to network and form strategic partnerships
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OFCCP and affirmative action/EEO requirements
  • Strong people skills with ability to work effectively in a team or independently
  • Experience coordinating large events; handling logistics, including travel, hotels, marketing, speaker identification; and developing agendas and materials
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams, develop presentations for small to large audiences, and facilitate team discussions
  • Willingness to travel and work abroad a minimum of 4 weeks per year, and to consider placement on long-term overseas assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Demonstrated leadership, innovation, enthusiasm, versatility, and integrity
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization required
