We are seeking a talented and motivated individual (m/f) with the following professional profile:

Profile:

• Degree in communications, journalism, or related field
• Professional experience in the healthcare IT environment
• Minimum 3 years experience in eiditing, journalism and publishing
• English mother tongue (or equivalent), other languages an asset, particularly French and (or) German
• Knowledge/experience with the European Institutions is considered an advantage
• Attention to detail, thrive in a multinational environment, cooperate professionally with authors
• Exceptionally sharp editing and proofreading skills
• Deadline-driven, able to prioritise assignments, and be flexible in a fast-paced publishing environment
• Strong written, oral and inter-personal communication and writing skills;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or equivalent programmes

Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of editorial direction, content, and strategy for publication
• Proofreading and editing of articles, written in English by international authors
• Coordinating work with several authors for a single volume
• Close follow-up of activities in the relevant field
• Writing own articles and news items
• Overseeing, coordinating art-work and layout
