R&D IT Solutions is a global organization with responsibility for all IT systems which support the Product Development within SEMC. R&D IT Solutions is a part of Corporate IT. Main locations are Lund, Beijing, Tokyo and Silicon Valley.
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer who will strengthen the application delivery R&D IT Solution.
Responsibilities
  • Code new features according to requirements, functional and technical specifications.
  • Write technical specifications.
  • Work with test driven development.
  • Do time estimates for programming and unit testing.
  • Perform unit testing.
  • Make software stability and performance analysis and then implement and/or suggest improvements.
  • Make sure programming code is written according to given standards and directives.
  • Analyze defects, troubleshoot and solve them.
  • Run and monitor performance tests on new and existing software for the purposes of correcting mistakes, isolating areas of improvement and general debugging.
  • Reports to technical lead and/or release manager.
  • Being able to educate the team members in advanced debugging techniques and other software related coding tricks

Authorities
  • Create technical specifications.
  • Send technical specifications for review/approval.
  • Change code in branch/view assigned to him/her.
  • Check in source code.
  • To support and specify new test methods for the assigned feature.

Qualifications
  • Four year university degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science and/or equivalent experience.
  • Analytic and programming skills Microsoft .Net platforms and databases
    • 3+ years experience in C#, JavaScript
    • Web services/WCF framework
    • MVC patterns
    • Web development
    • Strong GUI skills
  • Agile development models/methods
  • Experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
  • A good understanding of information modeling.
  • Knowledge in state of the art debugging technologies.
  • Knowledge in state of the art coding technologies.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment.
  • Be self motivated.
  • Be a team player.
