Working Capital Consultant/Manager PWC

Description
As a Working Capital Consultant/Manager, you will be a member of the Working Capital Management team. In this role, you will be required to deliver working capital reviews and improvement projects focusing on Order-to-Cash and Purchase-to-Pay process areas and contribute to the business development process. You will combine operational project delivery with team building responsibilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • reviewing process improvements, re-engineering business processes and ensuring interim management. As our larger projects are typically multi-territory, it is essential that candidates should be flexible and willing to work away from home occasionally.
  • providing expert strategic advice, support and project management services to clients facing working capital management issues
  • identifying key market trends and innovations and developing PwC's contribution and approach to these
  • identifying and managing sales targeting exercises towards selected key clients and further developing existing and potential key client relationships
  • coaching and growing a team of working capital consultants via training, development, motivation and supervision on complex client assignments.

Qualifications
You have

  • a master's degree in Business Administration, Economics or similar
  • 3 to 6 years of relevant experience and ideally hands-on experience with working capital initiatives and/or large cash optimisation or credit management projects
  • fluent language skills in Dutch and/or French and English
  • the ability to attain success in implementations, achieving savings and overcoming various challenges
  • excellent client relationship management skills, good negotiation and facilitations skills
  • the ability to work in and promote a team spirit environment and work with minimum supervision and to strict deadlines
  • the habit of interacting with senior management
  • a high level of cultural intelligence
  • the ability to analyse situations, making the most of available information, to provide a coherent summary of the current position and logical and imaginative recommendations for improvements
  • a pragmatic and problem-solving approach.

Knowledge of and/or project experience in one or more of the following fields would be an advantage:

  • Accounts Receivable/Order-to-Cash (O2C) or similar (credit management)
  • Accounts Payable/Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) or similar
  • Inventory Management
  • Working Capital improvement initiatives
  • Financial Value Chain management.
