The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is one of the leading schools of public health. The School is a United Kingdom Clinical Research Collaboration accredited Clinical Trials Unit, conducting a large number of Clinical Trials, both nationally and internationally. We are looking to recruit an Assistant Trial Manager to provide support to the Trial Managers and Senior Trial Manager in all aspects of trial management. The role-holder will be responsible for the day to day management of the trials and will work closely with the Chief Investigator, Senior Trial and Data Managers and other Trial Managers to ensure successful completion. He/she will have a role in developing, co-ordinating and completing clinical trials which are being conducted by the Clinical Trials Unit.
Applicants must have excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work as an integral part of the team. Previous experience of working in a clinical trial in a healthcare or commercial setting is essential as well as a good working knowledge of ICH GCP. The appointment is available for 2 years. The appointment will be made on LSHTM’s Professional Support Pathway Grade 4 £26,873 – £30,569 per annum, inclusive.
