Overseas Research Fellow in Epidemiology for Malaria Control

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, hard-working researcher to join a multi-disciplinary team working on one of the most urgent priorities in global malaria control.  The post holder will be part of the “Tracking Resistance to Artemisinin Collaboration (TRAC)” team and will support the design and implementation of epidemiological aspects of the programme of research and will take a lead in the statistical analysis of completed and ongoing studies related.  This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and suitably qualified individual to pursue a programme of work within this novel and expanding area.  The post-holder will be based in Cambodia and travel within the region.  They will work closely with the team in Cambodia and also liaise with teams in London, Bangkok and potentially other field sites in the region.
The post is available full-time until 31 December 2013, and candidates who wish to work part-time will be considered. Salary will be in the range for Research Fellows £36,018 - £40,904 according to qualifications and experience and will be subject to LSHTM terms and conditions.
