Job Summary

We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Systems Support Officer to join the Group Finance team in our Brisbane Head Office.   In this role, you will provide helpdesk support for the finance systems and assist the Finance Systems Manager with maintaining and developing the finance systems and integrating new merger partners.  The role will initially be a 12 month contact with the possibility of extending to a full time role after this time.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will: 
  • Be the primary contact for all finance system support requests from operational and finance staff. 
  • Assist operational/finance staff in understanding all aspects of the finance systems (billing support, online invoicing, revenue recognition, financial modules, project analysis and setup).
  •  Ensure all support requests are responded to in a timely manner.
  • Undertake ongoing system maintenance including project updates, staff charge rates, business unit setup, timesheet posting and system access.
  • Undertake data integrity checks and reconciliations.
  • Assist in maintenance and development of end user training documentation and the finance systems website.
  • Assist in acceptance testing of system upgrades and development.
  • Assist in the integration of new merger partners to Cardno’s finance system.

Other Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have proven experience in similar finance or systems role.  In addition, you will have:
  • Previous experience with accounting or systems

  • Enthusiastic and energetic approach to work
  • Reliable and trustworthy nature when dealing with confidential issues and staff at all levels

  • High level organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Suite applications
