Humanitarian Operations Finance & Grants Officer - Save the Children | United Kingdom


As part of the Humanitarian Finance and Grants Management team, the Humanitarian  Operations Finance & Grants Officer will have a leading role in ensuring high standards of financial management in emergency programmes worldwide, working closely with global, regional & country-based teams, Save the Children International and Save the Children Alliance members.
 
The Humanitarian Department has a yearly budget of over £12 m which includes emergency capacity building, Operational Support projects, Education Cluster, and host to ELHRA and the CBHA. The Humanitarian Department is also responsible for the management of a growing £2.5m+/year Children’s Emergencies Fund (CEF), Appeal Funds (over £7m) and securing over £30m/year of grant funds for Save the Children new emergencies. The Humanitarian Department also plays a key role in recovery phase after an emergency and in fragile states where over £40m/year is raised.
 
Key accountabilities:
  •  Support adequate sound control framework in Humanitarian Responses and fragile states
  •   Act in a supporting role to the provision of business partner services to the Humanitarian Response team.
  •  Management Information: Support to the F&G Advisors
