HR Manager - Marioff Corporation Oy | Finland


The HR Manager will be mainly focused in supporting the organization in Finland but will also participate in international projects and initiatives as well as take care of the HR reporting tasks on group level.
The main tasks include:
  • Provide consultation and advice to managers in human resource issues and employment relations both for the production organization in Kerava as well as the office in Vantaa.
  • Proactively participate in discussions and co-operate with operating management through team meetings and business planning sessions. 
  • Create company HR policies and processes, train and advice managers on policies, programs and best practices. 
  • Drive employee engagement 
  • Support the supervisors in employee development and recruitments
  • Plan for resourcing, headcount and employment cost and coordinate the budgeting process.
  • Support the outsourced payroll function and participate in maintaining and developing the compensations related policies, processes and programs.
  • Support the business leaders by providing metrics, and reports and in depth analysis on human resources activities.
  • Co-operate with the employee representatives
  • Be responsible for fulfilling all requirements of the co-operation law
  • Developing the HR function in co-operation with Director, Human Resources and completing special projects both domestically and internationally.
We are looking for a person who has a Master´s degree in Human Resources Management or another similar level relevant degree and 3-5 years of experience as human resources generalist including manager level experience. A background in Payroll or Finance is a valuable asset since we are looking for a person with excellent analytical skills and a genuine interest in numbers as well as strong computer skills. It is also important to have good knowledge of Finnish labor law and some experience in working with the labor unions.
An ideal candidate relates well to different kind of people, is easy to approach and communicates well in both English and Finnish. Other language skills are an asset. To be successful in the role it would be beneficial to have experience of working in an international environment and / or in matrix reporting environment. The environment is fast changing and complex so good organization skills, flexibility and a positive attitude are valued.
