Description: Mount Royal University Continuing Education is looking for enthusiastic business professionals interested in sharing their passion and expertise with other adults as a part-time instructor. We invite applications for qualified instructors to teach courses in the Supply Chain Management Extension Certificate program. Instructors are contracted on a per course basis, typically 7 to 21 instructional hours per course. Courses are taught in both a classroom and online format.

Duties: We seek to hire instructors with expertise and real world experience in one or more of the following subject areas: 

Supply chain management and/or procurement specialization across varied industries 
Logistics, inventory, and/or warehouse management expertise 
The role and importance of technology within supply chains 
Supply chain strategies including; tendering practices, RFP’s, RFQ’s, and contract management

Qualifications: At a minimum, candidates must meet the following requirements: 
A minimum of 5 years related senior supply chain, procurement, or logistics experience. 
A degree in a related discipline (e.g., business administration, commerce, logistics, etc.) with three to five years’ of professional experience. A Masters degree is preferred, but not required. 
Proven experience and success as an in-house or corporate trainer, adult educator and/or facilitator in a professional development or organizational/business setting 
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills 
Related professional degree(s) or designation(s) would be considered an asset (ie. Supply Chain Management Extension Certificate, SCMP Designation or similar) 
Experience using classroom-based technology to enhance student learning is an asset.
