International Professionals Programme (IPP)

We’ll invest in your future

Join the International Professionals Programme (IPP) and make a real difference in your career.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) invests in projects that transform economies and change lives. From ensuring the long-term safety of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant to fostering the development of democratic economies in the wake of the Arab Spring, the work we do goes far beyond that of the typical international bank – and our postgraduate programme is every bit as unique.

The IPP is a focused and intensive 23-month programme which gives bilingual English-speakers with a Master’s-level qualification and one to three years’ work experience the chance to invest their talent in this unique financial institution and explore the challenging, fascinating world of work with the EBRD.

For 12 ambitious, adventurous postgraduates the programme will be life-changing as you gain exposure to fascinating projects from a variety of perspectives. Whether you join us in Banking, VP Policy, Portfolio Risk Management or the Office of the Chief Economist (OCE), the structure of the programme remains the same. You will rotate through three six-month placements in our London Headquarters and undertake one five-month international assignment in one of our countries of operations, building on your business knowledge in a remarkable and challenging environment.

The learning curve is steep, the ground covered is broad and our aspirations for you are high. So expect to be pushed far outside your comfort zone – culturally, geographically and intellectually.

If you share our spirit of adventure and are ready to discover and learn from a diverse range of cultures, we’re ready to invest in you.

The closing date for applications is 25 February 2013, and successful candidates will join EBRD in September 2013. Find out more about the programme and apply at www.ipp.ebrd.com
