Head of International Programs Finance

We are currently looking for a Head of International Programs Finance for a maternity cover contract of initially 12 months to be based at our offices near Trafalgar Square, London. As a key member of the finance team, you will lead (with the Director of Financial Management) on all matters relating to finance of our international programs, both for development and humanitarian response. You will also be responsible for building the capacity of country office finance teams through provision of clear processes, toolkits and training materials to enable them to support beneficiaries, members and donors. This role will also lead on the management reporting of country office performance to Save the Children International (SCI) senior management, members and board as well as support and challenge the regional office finance teams.

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA/ ACA/ ACMA) and have significant experience of country finance activity within a complex INGO. In addition, you will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and be results oriented with an analytical mind. This role may also include some occasional travel to locations around the world.
