Regional Officer - Transitions
In order to achieve change on the scale required to meet the challenges now facing the natural world, we need to devote enough resources to those interventions that will achieve the greatest impact. This requires us to reduce significantly the number of programmes that we will support, lead and participate in. The purpose of the Transition team will be to ensure that we manage in a responsible way our transition out and hand-over of those programmes of work from which we are exiting.
Under the Regional Manager Transition (GI) you will manage a portfolio of WWF-UK supported work for clear Outcomes (with milestones) and appropriate exit/sustainability plans. Intially you will be expected to manage sustainable exits from Rio Conchos, Cotton projects, Meso American Reef and Papua New Guinea. You will ensure contracts are well managed, including technical and financial information so that TPRs and Financial reporting are on time and to quality. Additionally you will work with Communications and Fundraising Department to deliver communications and fundraising objectives.
