Regional Manager - Transitions


In order to achieve change on the scale required to meet the challenges now facing the natural world, we need to devote enough resources to those interventions that will achieve the greatest impact. This requires us to reduce significantly the number of programmes that we will support, lead and participate in. The purpose of the Transition team will be to ensure that we manage in a responsible way our transition out and hand-over of those programmes of work from which we are exiting.
Under the Director of Transitions you will manage a portfolio of WWF-UK supported work for clear Outcomes (with milestones) and appropriate exit/sustainability stewardship plans. Initially you will be expected to manage the sustainable exits from programmes of work related to those GI’s that WWF UK is withdrawing from. You will ensure contracts are well managed, including technical and financial information so that TPRs and Financial reporting are on time and to quality. Additionally you will effectively manage a team which initially will comprise of Regional Officers and a Policy Officer as well as work with the Communications and Fundraising Department to deliver communications and fundraising objectives.
