WWF-UK Head of Media Relations


The external affairs team co-ordinates message management to across WWF-UK to priority audiences. It has the responsibility to ‘gate-keep’ WWF-UK’s relationships with journalists across all print, broadcast, online media and social media influencers. The Head of Media Relations is responsible for managing WWF’s relationships with print and broadcast media outlets and for supporting our communications and fundraising objectives through dissemination through those media channels.
 
You will be developing strategies to support influencing, fundraising and brand goals through offline media channels as well gate keeping relationships with identified media outlets. Building relationships with journalists and media outlets you will be the WWF spokesperson and build the profiles of key WWF staff. You will also manage all communications through offline media channels reflecting WWF's brand and brand values. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the success of WWF's media engagement whilst managing and developing the Media Relations team.
