The administrative staff at Fidelity plays a vital role in the company's success, and those individuals serving in these positions are recognized by their colleagues as key members of their group, department, or organizational team.  This position is with the Fidelity Investment Life Insurance group in the Salt Lake City phone center. 
 
In this position you will deal directly with  the Annuity & Life Insurance Sales teams and provide support to approximately 30 Insurance licensed sales representatives.  Your excellent communication skills will be constantly put to the test, as will your ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously as you serve as a focal point of a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Insurance Licensing and renewal for 30 plus Sales  Representatives 
  • Opening and distributing mail
  • Expense report processing
  • Supply ordering 
  • Calendar management utilizing Microsoft Outlook
  • Screening incoming phone calls
  • Scheduling and coordination of meetings, conference calls  or other site events
  • Creation of documents, reports and high quality presentations utilizing Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Editing and proofing memos and written correspondence
  • Special projects as needed
  • Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications

 
  •  Education and Experience
    • A Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, or secretarial certificate/related work experience
    • 1-4 years of Administrative Assistant experience required
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
    • Strong writing and grammatical skills (i.e. for generating and editing memos)
    Skills and Knowledge
    • Polished Administrative Assistant with professional maturity and previous corporate environment experience required
    • Ability to effectively interact with senior level management and maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • Must be extremely detail-oriented and possess strong communication and organizational skills
    • Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and involvement is critical
    • Proactive in identifying ways in which assistance can be provided and is proactive in solving problems
    • Builds and maintains strong relationships with peers and management
    • Collaborative approach displaying excellent teamwork
