Description
User Experience Design DeveloperFidelity’s award winning User Experience Design team seeks an industry leading presentation layer developer to help inform and build creative concepts into workable, production-ready presentation layer. The developer primarily works with the Interaction, Information, and Visual Designers to design and create a functioning presentation layer experience which can be ported into a production environment.
The interface may evolve during the course of the project, depending on complexity and the number of platforms being created. Usually this presentation layer contains a representative sample of all page types that are going to be newly developed or will be changing in some fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a working presentation layer based on either a requirements document, discussions with the IA and/or Visual Designer, a mockup design image or wire frame design
- Build presentation layer to web based technical standards.
- Build presentation layer based on style sheets and templates and Style Guide components.
- Act as the bridge between starry-eyed creative thinkers and pragmatic engineers.
Qualifications
Deliverables:- A functioning presentation layer that visually meets the business requirements, satisfies design aspects, and has reuse value for development.
Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, HTML 5, CSS, CSS3, Javascript, and toolkits such as jQuery are a must.
- Familiarity with Silverlight, ASP, PHP as well as Microsoft Access and Sql databases are important as well.
- BA/BS degree in a Computer Science or related area.
