Business Services provide essential services to internal Goldman Sachs staff on a worldwide scale to facilitate the firm's business and, in many cases, have a direct impact on profitability. As a support organization, our goal is to provide high quality, cost-effective services that allow the firm to function on a day-to-day basis and meet essential business goals. The key areas of Business Services are Document Management, Hospitality, and Travel.
The Document Management Group (DMG) provides Goldman Sachs employees and its customers with reliable products and services related to the document lifecycle.
This position will provide oversight for all Firmwide document management processes and services in the Asia region, including: creative design, production, print, office equipment, distribution, document imaging and records archiving services. Liaise with key internal support areas to facilitate procurement and competitive bid activities, technology initiatives and financial controls. Establish and maintain relationships with key customers at a senior level. Develop a core vendor base in each service segment of DMG in alignment with Firmwide strategy.
Principal Responsibilities
•Delivers the overall successful performance of business-critical services to internal and external clients
•Implements annual business goals and objectives for each service segment within DMG
•Manages all aspects of risk including protection of confidential information, compliance with regulations and security obligations
•Monitors fiscal performance of each service segment within DMG in order to meet departmental financial control objectives to the regional manager
•Ensures strategic alignment with counterparts in other regions as well as with the global head of DMG
•Coordinates Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including the development of strategic business cases, identification of viable vendor participants, and the evaluation of vendor proposals
•Acts as liaison between key customers across the Firm and between senior management within Corporate Services
•Maintains relationships with existing DMG vendors and identifies additional resources as needed
•Actively sponsors vendor participation in annual Corporate Services Vendor Certification Program
•Oversees the implementation of quality assurance programs for each service segment within DMG including metrics reporting and customer surveys
•Coordinates with GS Technology and other internal support groups to review, evaluate and make recommendations regarding relevant applications and technology requirements
Basic Qualifications
•Proven, results-oriented service leadership or management experience
•Extensive experience working as a key member of a high performance team
•Strong organizational skills with a proven capacity for working in a non-directed environment
•Superior communication and analytical skills
•Established project management skills
•Strong interpersonal skills to work proactively with all levels
•Knowledge of document management submission, tracking and distribution applications
•Fluent in both Chinese and English - verbal and written
•Minimum 5 years work experience
