As a Summer Associate in our Business Technology practice:

You will gain valuable insights and experience in business technology consulting. If you have an interest in Management and Information Technology Consulting, or if you are excited about understanding critical business problems that require enabling technology as part of their solution, or if you wish to contribute to a team that is helping define and implement a company's strategic IT direction, then joining our Summer Associate program will give you on-the-job insight into a career in information technology consulting.

You will have the opportunity to interact with client executives and management team members. As a pivotal member of an entrepreneurial project team, you will have the opportunity to learn first-hand how we help a variety of companies in their efforts to significantly improve their technology investments. As a Summer Associate you will work with a team of consulting professionals to help our clients solve some of their most complex business problems. Your responsibilities may range from assessing client issues, interviewing client executives and technical staff to helping a client design, develop, and implement strategic technology and business recommendations. 

You will be challenged to further your interpersonal skills. Your internship should enhance not only your consulting skills, but also your networking skills. As a Summer Associate you'll take part in a series of social outings and office-wide meetings that will allow you to expand your professional network.

You will receive personalized career development counseling. We are deeply committed to developing our consulting professionals through thoughtful mentoring, counseling, and professional training. You will receive ongoing informal as well as formal, written feedback throughout your summer, using the same guidelines that are used for our full-time consultants.

You will be extended an offer to join us if you are considered a high-performer during the internship. High-performing Summer Associates are given the opportunity to join us on a full-time basis.

We are seeking candidates having a foundation of technology and/or operational experiences, as well as a demonstrated interest in advancing business through the design and implementation of executable technology strategies. To qualify for our Summer Associate program, you should possess the following:
• A technical background (from undergraduate degree or prior work experience) pursuing an MBA or Masters of Science in Technology (minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA) 
• Two to five years experience, with one to two years experience in roles that have used technology as an business enabler
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to travel to client locations

Our practitioners work in integrated project teams on a range of projects providing services in support of the entire life cycle that includes project planning, business and technology design, and solution development and implementation of operating models. Project teams often include specialists from our other businesses and technical disciplines and from our clients' organizations. As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to observe and work with high-performing teams and learn the fundamentals of becoming a respected professional.
