World Bank Program Manager (Head of PPIAF)


Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF)
The multi-donor technical assistance facility, PPIAF, seeks to recruit a seasonedProgram Manager to lead the Program Management Unit. This person is experienced in partnership building; the management of funds used for technical support; and the development and implementation of Public-Private Partnerships in infrastructure.
Duties and accountabilities include:
  • Manage and lead the Program Management Unit team of about 15 people based in Washington, DC, Nairobi and other future locations.
  • Strengthen PPIAF’s identity, branding, regional presence and working relations with clients, development institutions and donors.
  • Provide strategic direction along with the development, delivery and implementation of the program’s activities – focused on the regulatory and institutional framework for PPPs.
Selection Criteria include:
  • Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, business or related discipline, plus 15 years of relevant experience to infrastructure PPPs; or PhD plus 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in management and delivery of technical assistance, partnership building and donor relations.
  •  Proven ability to lead teams and to manage large programs with a strategic vision and strong operational focus.
