Cardno ENTRIX is seeking a Senior Project Scientist to assist in coordination and management of large-scale development, transportation, and utility projects in the Sacramento office. These include multi-disciplinary projects that require working in a group environment with a team of resource specialists and project managers. Project activities include natural resource management and study, environmental permitting, regulatory process planning and timeline management, and regulatory compliance reporting and tracking. Natural resource management and land management planning background with an emphasis in regulatory permitting or related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Project and Program Management
- Supervision of staff and coordination and oversight subcontractors
- Regulatory agency and stakeholder consultation
- Environmental study implementation and reporting
- Project planning and timeline management
- Client management and business development
Other Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental studies, natural resource management, planning or related field
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in environmental studies, natural resource management, planning or related field, and consulting experience
- Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- Program or project management experience, including proposal development, budget and scope management
- Ability to work on and manage multiple projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel for project meetings and to field sites
- Strong business/client orientation
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Excellent project organization skills
- Positive, flexible, team-oriented approach, with the willingness and desire to work as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Willingness to take on a variety of assignments
- Detail oriented; resourceful
- Self motivated; strong initiative
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish) a plus
