Culture, Food & Travel Writer at The Culture Trip

theculturetrip.com is a one-stop, global website, showcasing the best of art, culture and travel for every country in the world, with over 600,000 unique visitors per month from 200 different countries, and a social media following of over 250,000 people. We are currently looking for talented writers and editors who are passionate about amazing food, cutting-edge art and design and unmissable events to join our expanding editorial team. We have an extensive and growing group of freelancers all over the world.

As a writer for The Culture Trip, you will be crafting five or ten articles per month, with topics ranging from food to travel and contemporary art, and creating a valuable, online portfolio of writing for yourself. We're looking specifically for writers who know Europe inside out, but will give preference to writers who can also create pieces on various other places. This is a unique opportunity for ambitious humanities students, recent graduates and culture enthusiasts who want to grow with us and make a mark.

Requirements

• Demonstrable passion for art, culture, travel and food
• Native-level English speaker
• Affinity with global culture through personal heritage, travel and/or studies is a strong asset
• Excellent research, writing and/or editing skills
• Previous experience in arts and food writing preferred but not required
• Respect for deadlines
• Ability to take constructive criticism and develop
