Junior communications executive
Polymer Comply Europe (PCE) is looking for its Brussels office a junior communications executive. He/she will have the following tasks:
Communication:
• Draft statements, press releases and articles
• Information gathering and writing of internal e-bulletin (monthly )
• Power Point presentations
• Working with graphic designers regarding design of brochures, programs and other communication material
Events:
• Organisation of events: From selecting and working closely with the venue, processing registrations and invoicing, ensuring that the technical equipment is ordered and that the congress itself runs smoothly
• Organisation of workshops, panel discussions and dinner/ lunch debates in the European Parliament
Meetings:
• External meetings for members: Arranging venue, draft invitation
• Internal meetings: Ordering supplies (including lunch), laying the meeting table, making tea and coffee, etc.
• Travel arrangements: Making travel arrangements for the team (booking hotels and flights)
• Write minutes of meetings
Administration:
• Keep PCE’s databases up-to date
• Website: Use the content management system to up-load items onto the PCE website (news, press releases etc.)
Qualifications :
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
Skills needed:
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to multi-task and to prioritize
• A team player that can also work autonomously
• Creative and adaptable
• English mother tongue or equivalent (German an asset, although not obligatory)
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Working knowledge of the European Institutions
