International Communications Specialist

International Post Corporation (IPC) seeks to recruit an English-language Communications Specialist for its communication department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of IPC’s wide range of publications and reports, including copyediting of draft publications and reports, ensuring consistent style and maintaining the relationship with the graphic agency, as well as producing ad hoc in-house publications.
The International Communications Specialist will also be providing cross-functional communications support to the communications team on a range of projects, including updates to IPC website, events and database management.
IPC is looking for an energetic self-starter and quick learner wishing to gain experience in the field of communication in an international environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Editing and managing production of regular publications and reports;
  • Coordinate relationship with the graphic agency and manage publications budget;
  • Production of ad hoc in-house publications;
  • Research and collation of postal industry news;
  • Database management;
  • Web updates;
  • Ad hoc support to events and other communications activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A degree in communication, marketing or related field;
  • 1-2 years of experience in international communication, with a strong focus on copywriting and publication production management;
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and publishing (knowledge of Photoshop, Indesign is a strong asset);
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with vendors and agencies (graphic designers, publications agency, etc.) to achieve agreed goals;
  • Experience with online content management systems;
  • Strong planning and organisational skills;
  • A keen eye for detail, accurate proof reading, and a focus on excellence and quality;
  • A flexible team player;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
The International Communications Specialist reports to the Head of Communication. IPC offers the successful candidate a competitive remuneration package.
Status: full-time employee.
