Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality (SHEQ) Advisor
A new permanent vacancy has arisen at Sandvik Osprey for an experienced SHEQ Advisor to support the business in all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience as a SHEQ professional for a medium to large sized company, be educated to degree level, have their NEBOSH Certificate and preferably have obtained or be working towards their NEBOSH Diploma level. Experience in a regulatory and compliance environment (specifically dealing with MSDS and/or REACH) would also be highly advantageous.
As SHEQ Advisor you will be responsible for; ensuring the organisation is aware of and compliant with SHEQ legislation, maintaining and expanding the company’s MSDS and REACH systems, and other regulatory matters and processes. You will maintain records and report on safety performance data and relevant SHEQ KPI’s. Supporting and at times leading on any initiatives to improve company performance on SHEQ matters and developing quality plans and continuous improvement processes. Co-ordinating and delivering SHEQ training when required. The co-ordination of company Health and Wellbeing activities and supporting on internal and external audit processes.
To be successful in this role you will need to be energetic, self- motivated with initiative and enthusiasm. A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to implement new processes and drive change.
