Heating Systems & Powders (Location Flexible, Full time)
The Role :
Heating Systems & Powders are currently looking for a GPM Metallic Growth Products. This position will be instrumental in developing growth and pricing strategy and financial targets for the assigned products within Heating Systems. This position will act as an interface between customers, sales team and technical head for all major commercial aspects. You will be responsible for managing commercial risks for the business and to facilitate business operations profitably
Main duties and responsibilities:
  • To ensure personal and team safety and promote a 'Safety First' culture.
  • Responsible for Design of growth products outside standard offer for Tubothal & Rollers.
  • Responsible for identifying & approving manufacturing partners of complex components.
  • Responsible for identifying & approving second suppliers for tubes.
  • Develop & coordinate production routes for growth products.
  • Interact with stakeholders to understand product specs, regulatory standards/requirements and customer expectations.
  • Reviewing technical requirements provided by the Head - Technical to determine the design requirementsthat will apply.
  • Ensure in terms of designs and documentation that standards are adhered to.
  • Convey all necessary design specifications to stakeholders in a timely manner. Manage direct communication regarding specific product development.
  • Global support for large-scale projects that cannot be handled by local team
  • Maintaining Sandvik Product standard.
  • To ensure compliance with local legislative frameworks and/or rules to ensure compliance with local legislative frameworks and/or rules within the area of responsibility and raise an alarm when compliance with Sandvik's business principles are at risk.
  • Support adherence to Sandvik ways of working as expressed in "power of Sandvik".
  • Decision and operational activities must be under the guidelines of Sandvik management policies and code of conduct
Your Profile:
4 years of relevant experience in designing
Engineering Degree or Equivalent (mechanical/electrical),
