The local financial department (GE) supports the local production organization and the central finance functions within the business area, Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS), with information, reports and analyses. GE is now looking for a Business Controller for Production, ready for new challenges in working life. Key performance areas

As Business Controller you coach and guide production managers, striving to reach the best possible results in operational efficiency. You are able to work with colleagues at all levels and you are the communication bridge between production, Finance in Gimo and central Finance teams within SMS. You will be part of a network of business controllers in similar roles. You also work with reporting and analyzing financial information and compiling budgets, forecasts and book closings. Working with improving different financial processes will also be one of your tasks.

You report to the Manager of Finance and Business Control.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant area and at least three years of experience in controller positions within a manufacturing business. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential and knowledge in SAP is also desired. Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal, are a prerequisite.

As a person you are analytical, with a very good ability to see and explain variations in results, identify possible improvements and use your time to the greatest effect. You are proactive and have a structured way of working and an ability to stay motivated in a pressurized environment.
