Amnesty International’s Regional Office is looking for an experienced Human Rights Education Project Manager to lead the editing, compilation, design, development and dissemination of offline and online human rights education materials and maintain a wider online platform including an eLearning space in Arabic and English. 
About the role:
Access to human rights education creates the foundation for a rights respecting society, for (re)claiming rights. It underpins Amnesty’s human rights work.
You will work on the design and development of human rights education resources as well as engaging, effective and scalable eLearning journeys while ensuring the alignment with global and regional campaigns, activism and research in the MENA region. You will identify and ensure deployment of latest innovative learning technologies and stay up to date on latest trends, tools, security vulnerabilities and related implications.
You will provide advice and support to sections, structures and other Amnesty International entities and the wider human rights community within the region including through dissemination of relevant resources and utilizing the eLearning space and the wider online platform to respond to the human rights education and capacity building needs of Youth and HRDs in MENA. You will respond to queries by users and redirect other communications and requests to relevant teams in the Regional Office or the International Secretariat.
You will gather information, feedback and analyze data to inform best practices and approaches for scaling up, design and development of creative and cutting edge online and offline resources and tools, and contribute to raising the visibility of human rights education work online and offline, promoting impact of human rights education within and outside the organization, including for fundraising purposes.
About you:
With experience in the human rights education field, developing online and offline resources, conducting workshops on various human rights topics. You must have first-hand and in-depth knowledge of adult learning models, participative approaches and eLearning environments designed, for the non-formal and/or formal educational sector, on human rights or related topics in the MENA region.
You must have the capability both to work on your own initiative and as a member of a large and diverse team, often under pressure.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
