As we are expanding our expertise, we are looking for a full-time legal advisor with a strong EU financial and banking law background for an immediate position to support our busy staff.

Key tasks will include the following:

• Research and development of analytical reports on European legal topics in the banking and financial sector;
• Assisting in the management of projects to budget while ensuring that deadline and quality objectives are met, and ensuring coordination across multidisciplinary teams;
• High quality assurance of deliverables;
• Development and drafting of proposals.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• At least a Master’s degree in law, with a strong focus on the financial services legislation, in particular securities and financial instruments; 
• Minimum 3 years prior work experience, preferably in the field of banking and finance; 
• Proven experience in carrying out multi-country comparative studies and/or compliance assessments and substantial legal analysis;
• Excellent spoken and written English and experience drafting reports in English;
• Good knowledge of other European languages is an asset; 
• An independent, self-starter personality;
• Well-organised, practical-minded and able to prioritise a busy and varied work-load; 
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word.
