Strategic Assistant to the Dean (M/F)
Full-time position
The Dean, being responsible for the overall strategic positioning and implementation of the strategy of MSM, requires an enterprising individual who thrives in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment to support him and the team in the Dean’s office to grow the business of MSM.
The Strategic Assistant to the Dean will:
  • Plan the Dean’s diary and activities to be optimally aligned with the MSM strategic goals and corporate plan;
  • Assist the Dean in identifying, planning, and following through initiatives to develop new business including and managing new and existing corporate, government and academic partnerships for MSM;
  • Network with and on behalf of the Dean with the corporate sector, government and the business school world.
The incumbent should meet the following requirements:
  • Hold at least a Master degree in the disciplines of economics, management and/or international business;
  • Have at least 5 years practical experience working in the corporate / higher education sector in project management and/or executive support or related areas;
  • Possess highly developed analytical, writing and presentation skills;
  • Be able to network efficiently and use social media effectively;
  • Be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines;
  • Have well-developed intercultural communication skills, be emphatic and solution-driven;
  • Be entrepreneurial and a self-starter that can take initiative and recognize unique opportunities;
  • Have full proficiency in English and Dutch.
