Junior Consultant - Infrastructure Advisory (Energy/Transport)

EY's Transaction Advisory Services (TAS° department offers companies professional transaction experience, from the strategic analysis phase of the transaction lifecycle, through exectution to transaction integration. The Real Estate and infrastructure Advisory Services (REAS) team is part of TAS and provides services related to (i) real esate valuation and business modelling, (ii) real estate transaction guidance, capital market and due diligence services, (iii) strategic real estate and international location advice, (iv) infrastructure advice (such as Public Private Partnership (PPP) and project finance).
As we continue to enhance our position in the Infrastructure Advisory Industry especially within the EU/IFI Institutions, we currently offer a career opportunity in our Team for a Junior Consultant to join the EU Infrastructure Advisory Team and provide support to the Framework Contract Manager.
Main Tasks
Under guidance, preparation/drafting of proposals in response to tenders issued by the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and other International Institutions including among others
  • management of relationships and coordination with consortium member companies cooperating with EY on project calls/bids
  • drafting of minutes of meetings and conference calls
  • support to bid management and finalization
  • establishment of templates and monitoring of internal procedures/policies
  • administrative follow-up of contract management
Support in the contractual management of projects awarded to EY
Support in the drafting of analysis and research papers mainly in the field of renewable energies, infrastructure investments/financial instruments and transport modes.
Profile
  • Master of Science in Economics/Finance/Management awarded less than 3 years ago
  • Excellent organizational skills, flexibility and abilit to work under tight deadlines
  • Willingness to learn, proactivity, openness to work in a multicultural environment
  • The position is entry level for fresh graduates, however past job experience or internships in consulting firms, financial institutions, engineering firms and/or EU institutions will be considered as an advantage
  • Master thesis/knowledge/experience related to energy efficiency/renewable energy and/or transport infrastructure sectors, along with related EU policy will be considered as an advantage
Language skills: excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
