UTZ is headquartered in Amsterdam and works closely with its partner network in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We are looking to hire a:
Junior video editor - for 2 months, based in Amsterdam
In your role as Video editor you are responsible for the editing of short video's that support dozens of e-courses that are available in 40 countries like Ivory coast, Ghana, Turkey and Honduras. You work independently as editor in our Training and Themes department, to get good results you closely coordinate your activities with our international team. You edit and process the videos for our online learning environment: The UTZ Academy online, built in Moodle. You might even shoot some video's with our green screen yourself.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Research and find applicable footage for e-courses in our library;
  • Edit videos;
  • Coordinate translations and process subtitles;
  • Process the video's in e-courses in Moodle.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in video editing software Adobe Premiere;
  • Experience with Audacity or comparable audio editing software;
  • Experience with Online Learning Environments and LMS (Moodle);
  • Fluent in English (written, verbal) is mandatory. Fluent in Spanish, French, German or Portugese is an advantage;
  • A background in agronomy/rural development/sociology or economy is an advantage.
Employment is based upon 20 hours/week during 2 months. The position will be based in Amsterdam and open to applicants of all nationalities. However, we can only consider candidates who have, will get or are eligible for a Dutch work and residency permit. Starting date of the assignment is foreseen as soon as possible.
