Partnership Manager, Food Systems for Healthier Diets

Food Systems for Healthier Diets (FSHD) is a 5 year (2017-2021) "flagship" project, which is part of CGIAR, and IFPRI led, Agriculture for Nutrition and Health Research Program. The goal of FSHD is to understand how we can help poor and vulnerable populations to consume healthier diets using a food system approach. Activities in the project include diagnostics of the current and future diets, identifying and enabling food system interventions and innovations and understanding the levers for up-scaling these interventions. FSHD will work together with private, public, and civil society actors, including participating CGIAR centers at national and sub-national food system level. The geographic scope is Africa south of the Sahara, South Asia and to a lesser extent, Southeast Asia, with particular focus on four key countries: Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nigeria and Vietnam.
Wageningen UR (WUR) will lead the FSHD project in collaboration with several CGIAR centers (Bioversity International, CIAT, IITA and IFPRI) and the Partnership Manager will be part of the FSHD Flagship Project management team. The Partnership Manager will lead the public and private stakeholder relations in FHSD.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial project management experience, which includes positions at senior level. Further, the candidate will have solid research experience in a related area. Experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams in different countries is essential. Knowledge of food system approaches is an advantage.
