Quality assurance advisor
Chemonics International seeks a quality assurance advisor for a five-year, $24-million, USAID-funded higher education leadership and management project in Indonesia. The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Indonesian higher education institutions to perform effectively in financial management, general administration and management, quality assurance, and collaboration with external stakeholders. The position, not to exceed one year, will provide technical assistance to universities in systematic policies and processes to obtain feedback from sources inside and outside the university about the quality and relevance of academic programs and to maintain quality of learning.
Qualifications:
*Master's degree in one or more relevant fields; additional professional certifications a plus
*Minimum 10 years of experience in the development and implementation of quality assurance approaches at higher education institutions, inclusive of approaches that significantly engage external stakeholders and focus on improved outcomes in student learning and performance
*Proven experience in implementing activities to enable higher education institutions to develop quality assurance approaches supportive of the sustained delivery and continuous improvement of quality teaching, research and service, particularly as it relates to ensuring the value and relevance of such programs to external stakeholders
*Proven experience in the development and implementation of management and leadership training and professional development programs for higher education administrators and staff
*Working experience in developing countries; experience in Indonesia preferred
*Familiarity with cultures of Indonesia and Southeast Asia
*Strong proficiency in English
