LECTURER Industrial Design & Technology

Duties: The successful candidate will be expected to: (i) teach any three (3) of the following courses; Graphics, Design Management, Product Design or Sustainable Design, at undergraduate level; (ii) participate in all academic and professional activities including research and supervision of design research projects; (iii) teach other Industrial Design and Technology courses at undergraduate level; (iv) carry out other duties that will be assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: Candidates should (i) have a Bachelor’s degree in Design and Technology, Industrial Design or equivalent plus a relevant Masters Degree (ii) show evidence of engagement in research and service. University teaching experience or equivalent and/or a Ph.D in relevant area will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with cognate industrial experience.
