DIGITAL ASSOCIATE, COMMUNICATIONS
RISK RESPONSE NETWORK (RRN)
Uniquely placed to catalyse a response to the new reality of a world of risk, the World Economic Forum provides private and public sector leadership with an independent platform to better monitor, prepare for, respond to and mitigate risks: the Risk Response Network (RRN). An exclusive and trusted community, the RRN is strategically positioned to respond to a continuously evolving risk landscape by leveraging the World Economic Forum’s knowledge base, experience sharing and stakeholder approach. The RRN community will focus on risks where multistakeholder collaboration can strengthen global, regional and industry risk resilience.
The Digital Associate of the Risk Response Network reports to the head of the RRN Communications Team. The person leads the development of the RRN’s online portal, in particular the user interface and functionality required to build a community. In this role, you will:
• Lead the development of the RRN’s online community by working with external developers and the World Economic Forum’s internal website and electronic engagement teams
• Bring design flair to bear in creating interactive features to engage the community actively in the online platform by sharing insights and disseminating knowledge
• Work with the Editorial Associate to ensure information within the platform is accessible (searchable, mashable, seamless) and engage developers where necessary
• Ensure the publication of reports online is Web friendly (interactive, seamless)
You have a Master’s degree and two to three years’ working experience. You have a strong eye for design and ability to commission user interface design work that is consistent with predefined brand guidelines. You are also meticulous in following through on the perfection of the interface's implementation. A key aspect of this role will be innovation and community communication initiatives generated through functionality. You are a team player who delivers under tight deadlines. Fluent spoken and written English are a must and additional languages a definite plus.
