The role
Working in the Economic Growth Practice, the purpose of this position is to provide technical, business development and business delivery coordination and support to Managers, Senior Managers and Principals on new and ongoing projects and to participate in the preparation and submission of expressions of interest and proposals. They may also be assigned to help with general marketing and business development activities.

The person
Applications are sought from candidates offering proven experience in research, analysis and synthesis of information as well as your report writing and presentation skills. Consultation and negotiation with stakeholders and team members would also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will have knowledge of contracting procedures for international consulting work. You will have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels demonstrating cultural sensitivity. Strong knowledge of social, political and economic environment is a must and established relationships within international development agencies would be highly regarded.

Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in economics; development; international relations or human geography. A postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
