Well-organised individuals with excellent office and communication skills are invited to apply for this key post working with David M Clark, Professor of Experimental Psychology in the newly opened Oxford Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma as Executive PA and Research Administrator. The postholder will assist the Professor in running a clinical research group, organising academic events, preparing publications and materials for the internet, administrating budgets, liaising with the Health Service, Government and the public.

The post is a fixed-term appointment for three years in the first instance.

The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary team that is a world leader in developing and evaluating effective psychological treatments for anxiety disorders. The team is based in a friendly, busy and lively department.

Applicants should be familiar with Apple Mac OSX systems (the office is Mac based), have excellent word processing skills (including audio dictation); be familiar with spreadsheets, invoices and the management of accounts; be able to maintain web pages; be able to prioritise and plan work load; be willing to take minutes of meetings: be able to form good working relationships with a variety of professionals; and have an excellent manner when dealing with patients and other members of the public. Ability to manage digital media files (pictures and video) and familiarity with Powerpoint and reference software (such as Reference Manager or Endnote) would be helpful.

Recent graduates who do not have direct personal assistant experience but have excellent skills in the relevant areas will be considered.
