Assistant Social Protection Rights Coordinator
National position based in Lodwar, Kenya

The ASPRC will work closely with the Social Protection Rights Coordinator in the design, review and imple mentation of all aspects of the HSNP SPR component in the county of Turkana with guidance from the Project Manager in Nairobi on policy and other critical issues.

The candidate will have bachelor’s degree in social sciences or development studies or community de velopment, at least three years work experience in an NGO, experience in oper ational management and capacity building of staff and partners.He/she will have experience in working with civil society organizations,community mobilization and facilitation.Ability to travel extensively in northern Ke nya is essential to this post.

Assistant Project Coordinator (Emergencies) National position, based in Lodwar, Kenya
The assistant project co ordinator will work closely with the Social Protection Rights Coordinator(SPRC) in the design,review and implementation of all aspects of the emergency component of the overall program in the county of Turkana with guidance fro m the Program Manager in Nairobi on policy and other critical issues.

The candidate will have bachelor’s degree in social sciences or development studies or community de velopment, at least three years work experience in an NGO, experience in oper ational management and capacity building of staff and partners. He/she will have a strong understanding of emergency programmes in Northern Kenya, commitment to rights education and the empowerment of vulnerable groups as well as strong community mobilization, facilitation and mediation skills.

Project Assistant – County Data Management
National position, based in Lodwar, Kenya

The post-holder will overs ee the quality of the data collection w ithin counties to provide timely and releva nt data analysis in support of programming decisions and reporting.

The post-holder will have a diploma in any of the following fields: social sciences, information tec hnology, information management, relational database design and development, statistics. He/she will have two years working experience in data collection and management in a programme context, data analysis, processing, presentation and reporting skills. Knowledge of data quality measurements is essential as is ability to prioritize and work within strict deadlines.

Field Officers
National position, based in Lodwar, Kenya

Support implementing the programme in the Counties of operation and ensure compliance to Donor and HelpAge guidelines/standards at field level.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Development studies or community development, experience in field based community work preferably in a NGO environment, good report writing skills and ability to conduct training at community level.

Logistics Assistant
National position, based in Nairobi, Kenya

The purpose of this position is to provide logistical support to the office, including transporting staff to meetings and in-country field visits, processing work permits and travel documents, running official errands, procurement, maintenance and safety of vehicle fleet.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years work experience in logistics, valid driving licence and thorough knowledge of Nairobi and its environs, knowledge in computer packages and email. Background knowledge in purchasing and supplies will be an added advantage.
