Senior Level Consultants to document a Global Conference on Child Protection Systems

UNICEF, the world’s leading organization working for the rights of children, seeks two Senior Level Consultant to document a Global Conference on Child Protection Systems.

Qualification:

• An academic degree in one of the social sciences (e.g. sociology, anthropology, political science), preferably Master’s degree or above
• Fluency in written and spoken English, and ideally also in Spanish
• A proven record of writing, preferably for publication
• Proven experience in producing conference outcome documents or publications desirable
• Successful work in an international environment, including working with other languages through simultaneous and consecutive translation
• Demonstrated skills in recognising cultural differences, and being able to accurately reflect these differences
• Knowledge of child protection required
• Knowledge of social sectors systems highly desirable
• Experience designing and conducting small trainings desirable

Please indicate your ability, availability and daily rate to undertake the terms of reference above. As a team of two is required, ideally the team would submit jointly. Applications submitted without these noted documents, including the daily rate, will not be considered. Travel and per diem costs do not need to be included in the submission as these will be covered by the conference co-hosts.
