The EU desk is a small international dedicated team working on EU issues and EU- funded projects. The EU desk role is focused on identify and acquire EU funded international business opportunities; Manage and coordinate a network of offices; Develop and manage close and sustainable relationships with EU Institutions and other EU actors active in EU funding; enable a strategic presence of the firm to the EU institutions.

Tasks to be performed by the intern:

• Pipeline management:
  • managing the information related to EU opportunities across the KPMG network;
  • Tenders preparation: assist in compiling of material, analysis and client intelligence;
  • Credentials manager: compilation and up boarding of credentials;
• Business analyst support:
  • Investigate EU market actors and EU knowledge;
  • Research and report in any of EU policies and regulations development, including financial regulations;
• Communication and Event support:
  • Screening EU events, seminars and workshops / Participate in EU events;
  • Collect Thought Leadership material;
  • Help updating the intranet pages and other collaborative tools and social network;
  • Assist as event organiser;
  • And general support to the teams;

Your profile

• University graduate;
• Previous exposure to EU institutions: studies, working experience;
• Excellent communication skills and abilities to engage with;
• Excellent computer skills;
• Excellent English and a second language, ideally French, German or Dutch;
• Great interest in European Affairs;
• Previous exposure to an international working environment.
